Welcome to the website of Hampton Sailing Club.
Located on the beautiful Sandringham foreshore, our club (formerly Victorian Ladies Yacht Club) has occupied a place facing Hampton Beach since 1946.
We welcome sailors of all levels of experience and are always happy to have new people join our community.
Hampton Sailing Club is a 100% volunteer organisation with a race management team that organises racing on Sunday afternoons throughout the year from spring to autumn.
If racing is not your passion, take a leisurely cruise around the Hampton harbour or venture further north (or south) along the scenic coastline of Port Phillip Bay.
The club has no preferred or sponsored classes of boat. We accept all types of watercraft up to a length limit of 5 metres. Some undercover storage is available for craft up to 4 metres. No catamarans.
Social events are arranged from time to time in our fabulous clubhouse. Members can use the commercial barbeque to cook and eat their own meals on the deck that looks out towards Melbourne’s CBD.
