The inaugural ‘Build-a-burger’ night will be held at the clubhouse next Saturday night, 11 November. For a cost of $5 each, you will be offered a barbequed beef, chicken or vegetarian patty or lamb kofta on a choice of burger bun or flat bread. You then add topping ingredients which will include fried onions, lettuce, cheese, tomato pineapple, beetroot, etc. A range of sauces will be available. For dessert there will be ice-creams on sticks at cost price. Beer and soft drinks will be available from the club fridge. As usual, wine will be a BYO affair.
To add to extra interest to the evening, Mark Jackson and the Vinots will give brief presentations on their exploits at World Championship events held earlier this year.
We plan to light up the barbeque at 7 PM. Volunteers for food preparation on the night will be welcome.
